# About the Legend of Defenders Wiki
An independent fan site for the Steam game [Legend of Defenders](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4740930/Legend_of_Defenders/). It exists because the game launched on 2 November 2026 with no fan reference yet: no achievement guide with real unlock rates, and no plain-language record of its many updates.

## Who runs it
An independent publisher of fan-made game reference sites. We are not KaiPlay Studio, Gamersky Games or Valve, and nobody paid for or reviewed this content before it went live.

## Where the facts come from

- **Achievements and unlock rates:** Steam's public achievement page and global achievement statistics, pulled by script. The date of the last pull is shown on each page.

- **Price and player count:** Steam's public store and player-count APIs, cached for 10 minutes.

- **Heroes, systems and changes:** the developers' own announcements on Steam and the official store screenshots. Every roster entry links to its source.

If a source does not say something, we do not fill the gap. Unknown unit types or elements stay blank.

## How pages are written
Pages are drafted with the help of an AI assistant (Claude by Anthropic) working from the sources above, then checked against them. The numbers on the achievement and guide pages are computed from the Steam data, not typed in. Tips such as "what to upgrade first" are our reading of the official notes and are labelled as such.

## Ads
The site is free and carries a small number of ads from Adsterra. Ads never sit inside the achievement tracker. Details are on the [privacy page](https://legendofdefenders.com/privacy/).

## Corrections
Found a mistake, or know a hero's element we left blank? Write to us via the [contact page](https://legendofdefenders.com/contact/) and include a source (a screenshot is fine).
